WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?

Injectable fillers have become a popular fixture in the cosmetic treatment landscape in recent years. Depending on the formulation used, facial fillers are temporary to long-lasting solutions for cosmetic lip enhancement, facial volume loss, and correction of age-related static wrinkles and scars.

Upon completion of Introduction to Dermal Fillers, students can continue to develop their skills by advancing to our advanced class offerings.

TARGET AUDIENCE AND PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS

The educational design of this activity addresses medical professionals holding an active and unrestricted medical license in their field of practice. No previous experience in medical aesthetics is required.

OBJECTIVES

Describe the pharmacology and mechanism of action of soft tissue hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers.
Review the mechanism of action of the soft tissue dermal fillers.
Identify patient characteristics that support or contraindicate use of HA dermal fillers.
Identify facial areas for which treatment with dermal fillers is appropriate.
List the proper dosing regimens for various dermal fillers.
Describe injection techniques for the various dermal fillers per injection site.
Explain the differences in dosing regimens for various dermal fillers.
Discuss the duration of action and potential side effects for each dermal filler per injection site.

A combination of didactic presentation and a 1:1 student-to-educator ratio hands-on practicum offers a unique learning environment to expand the learner's knowledge base.

TUITION

Your tuition of $3000 includes on-demand access, all course materials, and a certificate of completion from the Aesthetic Mentor.

AESTHETIC MENTOR CANCELLATION POLICY

On-Demand Training:
Course tuition is non-refundable once the training has been accessed. Once on-demand training has begun, you have agreed to complete the on-demand and on-location course in its entirety. No partial refunds will be considered.

On-Location Training:
No refunds or changes will be honored within 7 days of the scheduled course or clinic date. No exceptions. Cancellation or rescheduling requests within 8-10 days of the scheduled course or clinic date will result in a 10% cancellation fee.

You must arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Failure to arrive by the start of class time will result in forfeit of class and tuition. Incomplete training, no-shows, or early leave will result in an automatic forfeit of tuition.

Although unlikely, scheduled course or clinic dates are subject to cancellation or change based on required minimums or limitations. Cancellations and changes must be requested via email to guideme@theaestheticmentor.com.
