OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the foundational principles and historical development of intravenous (IV) therapy.
  • Explain relevant anatomy and physiology, including the venous system and principles of fluid and electrolyte balance.
  • Identify appropriate indications and contraindications for IV hydration and vitamin therapy.
  • List common vitamins and minerals used in IV therapy and their associated therapeutic indications.
  • Discuss the clinical roles, benefits, and mechanisms of action of vitamins and minerals administered intravenously.
  • Summarize the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of IV-administered nutrients.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine eligibility and suitability for IV therapy.
  • Develop individualized IV therapy treatment plans based on patient history, health status, and goals.
  • Implement safe and effective protocols for administering IV hydration and vitamin therapy in a medical aesthetics setting.
  • Calculate correct dosages and infusion rates while identifying potential nutrient-drug interactions.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses during and after IV therapy, modifying treatment as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Your tuition of $2000 includes all course materials and a certificate of completion from the Aesthetic Mentor.

CANCELLATION POLICY

On-Demand Training: Course tuition is non-refundable once the training has been accessed. Once on-demand training has begun, you have agreed to complete the on-demand and on-location course in its entirety. No partial refunds will be considered.

On-Location Training: No refunds or changes will be honored within 7 days of the scheduled course or clinic date. No exceptions.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests within 8-10 days of the scheduled course or clinic date will result in a 10% cancellation fee.

COVID-19: High-standard COVID safety and health measures are taken for all on-location events. If you or a household member are exposed to COVID or exhibiting any symptoms, please contact us at 339.674.1134 to discuss rescheduling.

Incomplete training, no-shows, or early leave will result in an automatic forfeit of tuition. CME/CE certificates will not be issued for partial or incomplete training.

Although unlikely, scheduled course or clinic dates are subject to cancellation or change based on required minimums or limitations.
